Recently, Sinochem New Energy Co., Ltd. (Sinochem New Energy) was officially registered in Xiong'an New Area, making it the first professional company from Sinochem Holdings focused on new energy to settle in Xiong'an New Area.

Sinochem New Energy was funded by Sinochem Energy and initially incubated by Sinochem Oil Marketing Co, Ltd. Based on its own resource layout and business attributes, Sinochem Oil Marketing Co, Ltd. set four pilot areas for the new energy business: electricity exchange, charging, hydrogen energy, and photovoltaic. Based in Xiong'an New Area, Sinochem New Energy will first test the new-energy vehicle charging and swapping business. At the same time, it will focus on the application of hydrogen energy and distributed photovoltaic technology transformation in gas stations and oil depots as it continues to explore and cooperate in the upstream and downstream industrial chains, stimulate new driving forces for green and low-carbon development, and contribute to the construction of the country's "Millennium Plan".
