On the morning of November 29, 2018, the Ethylene Project Department of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd (Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical) held a high-level coordination meeting of material suppliers, in order to further strengthen the trust and cooperation between Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical and suppliers, promote the smooth installation of the Ethylene Project, and ensure the timely delivery at the end of 2019. The meeting was attended by Jiang Zhenghong (Vice President of Sinochem Group, and President of Sinochem Energy), Zhang Qiang (Vice President of Sinochem Energy), Tang Huiyun (General Manager of Ethylene Project Department), and representatives of 107 enterprises, including the general contractor, construction supervisor and suppliers of the Ethylene Project, etc.

At the meeting, Liu Qishi, Deputy General Manager of Ethylene Project Department, made a report on the project procurement and signed contracts with 7 suppliers. Representatives of the construction supervisor and suppliers delivered speeches in proper order, and stated that they would actively speed up the equipment manufacturing and supply progress of the Ethylene Project. Zhang Qiang presented plaques to representatives of 20 major suppliers.

Jiang Zhenghong gave concluding remarks, and put forward five requirements for the construction supervisor, suppliers and Ethylene Project Department: Firstly, they should implement strict process management to ensure the quality of materials and products. Secondly, Ethylene Project Department should strengthen the planning and coordination with contractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure that the material supply meets the construction progress of the project. Thirdly, suppliers should attach great importance to safety and environmental protection, and ensure safety in manufacturing, inspection, transportation and delivery. Fourthly, all the suppliers should participate in the project construction in the principle of "justice, fairness, transparency and openness". Fifthly, Ethylene Project Department should effectively manage suppliers and establish regular evaluation mechanism. The scoring results will be used for subsequent projects, especially the bidding of Sinochem Quanzhou Phase III Project. Meanwhile, we should also provide good services for suppliers, encourage excellent suppliers to be shortlisted and participate in the construction, and establish a long-term strategic cooperation relationship with important suppliers in the industry.
