On October 26, the commencement ceremony of the 42,000 Nm3/h air separation project of Linde Zhonghua (Quanzhou) Gas Co., Ltd. was held in Sinochem Quanhui Petrochemical Park. Jiang Zhenghong, President of Sinochem Energy Co., Ltd., Lu Gang, Vice Mayor of Quanzhou, Fang Shiwen, President of Linde Group East Asia, and Zhang Qiang, Vice President of Sinochem Energy Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Jiang Tao, general manager of Sinochem Quanzhou Park Development Co., Ltd.

Mr. Jiang pointed out at the ceremony that the air separation project is the first Sino-foreign joint venture project of Sinochem Quanhui Petrochemical Park and a good start for cooperation with Linde Group. As a supporting project of Sinochem Quanzhou 1 million tons/year ethylene project, the smooth development of air separation project is one of the key factors to ensure the smooth operation of ethylene project. The employees participating in the construction must "not forget the initial heart, keep in mind the mission", earnestly shoulder the trust of both shareholders, complete the project construction on high quality on time, and ensure the smooth operation of the project.

On September 6, 2018, Linde Zhonghua (Quanzhou) Gas Co., Ltd. was formally established, mainly responsible for the construction, operation and management of the air separation project of Sinochem Quanhui Petrochemical Park. The project uses advanced technology to achieve technology leadership, cost reduction and efficient operation through intensive public works. The project is expected to be put into operation in March 2020.
